Dad was diagnosed with Mesothelomia in October 2004 and passed away at 61 3 months later - he loved his family, friends, sport - especially Man Utd. We named his star "sparkie red" in recognition of his job as an electrician and the "red devils". Mum died on 25th September 2013 at 69 having suffered from pulminary fibrosis for approx. 5 years. For the first 3 1/2 years she managed to play golf, go shopping and enjoy many holidays. This came to an end at the start of 2012 and despite trying new treatments she wasn't able to get to her 70th. My sister - Katy and I miss them both so much. The fund we set up in our dad's name has been expanded to include mum.
